E-Discovery

An investigator / auditor is granted access to archived data by the Unlimited Mailbox System Administrator. Using the Auditor Search feature, an Auditor can execute a search on specific (or groups of) mailboxes using a wide range of search criteria.

When a search is performed and a message is accessed, it will by default be flagged ‘pending’. In addition, auditors can opt to flag a message as ‘skipped’ (if the message was not relevant to the search) or mark the message for review (escalation).

Auditor Search results can be exported to designated destination(s). These exports are a true copy of the original message (including header information).

Auditors can create a Search Profile. This option is particularly useful for frequently recurring searches. A defined/saved Search Profile runs the search continuously in the background and is thereby able to return accurate searches on large volumes of data almost instantly.

Redaction

Unlimited Mailbox offers a thorough set of auditing features. Redaction, for example, is applicable to each case or e-mail.

Redaction can be applied to the header, body, attachment. Further, letter by letter redaction can be applied manually. Each redacted e-mail will be placed in a directory for use, based on business rule(s). All original e-mails will remain intact and the history logs will electronically time and date stamp the redaction as well as show a pointer to the redacted e-mail.
